What to expect

Luxurious Accommodation

You will be accommodated within a luxurious house  that is situated in one of the loveliest valleys of the Lake District.  Every room is ensuite   With a glorious open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area, with double sided log burner, looks out through huge glass bifold doors across our meadow, toward the River Esk, with a backdrop of Lakeland fells. You can also enjoy the use of 2  Jacuzzis under the Cumbrian sky.

Walks

Day one will entail a walk of discovery out of the front door. A time to get out with nature and take in the magnificent surroundings. There will also be opportunities to free your mind and body with wild swimming in a picturesque spot en route.

Day 2 you have the opportunity to walk up the highest mountain England, Scafell Pike, with your host and guide. Or be taken on a journey in the valley below, with England's deepest lake, Wastwater, and find your creative side.

Art

Discover or nurture your creativity with mindful art sessions. You will have an opportunity to create your own masterpiece during the stay to make memories on your wall at home. No art experience is necessary.

From the moment you arrive you will be on a journey for the tastebuds. From fine local dining to our own chef sharing their special meals with you.

Paul Steele - The BaldHiker

Paul is our walking and hiking guide who has years of experience in the local fells and mountains. He will take you on a journey through the landscapes and the history of the area.

Zoe Potter

Zoe is our resident Artist with a wealth of experience inspiring all ages with her talent for teaching drawing, painting and printmaking.

Her own Artwork reflects her deep love for the Great Outdoors.

She will bring out a wonderful Art piece from within you.
