2. Booking & Payment
- Your booking is confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of £500 per person.
- The full balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the holiday start date.
- For bookings made within 6 weeks of the start date, full payment is required immediately.
3. Accommodation in Rented Properties
- Accommodation during your holiday includes privately rented properties (e.g. large country houses, cottages).
- You must respect the property, keeping it clean and leaving it in good condition.
- You are liable for damage, breakages, or excessive cleaning costs.
- Smoking is prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
- Please observe local noise regulations and respect neighbours.
- Check-in/check-out times and access instructions will be provided in advance.
4. Cancellation by You
- All cancellations must be made in writing.
- Cancellation fees:
- More than 42 days: Loss of deposit
- 28–41 days: 50% of total cost
- 14–27 days: 75% of total cost
- Less than 14 days: 100% of total cost
- Travel insurance is strongly advised to cover cancellation and other losses.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Us
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend your holiday due to unforeseen events.
- If we cancel, we will offer a full refund or an alternative date.
- Minor changes (e.g. alternate but equivalent accommodation) do not entitle you to compensation.
6. Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover cancellation, medical costs, personal liability, and delays.
- International Guests: Ensure your policy includes repatriation and international travel disruption.
7. Entry Requirements (International Guests)
- You are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, visa (if required), and complying with UK immigration laws.
- No refunds are given for inability to travel due to visa or entry problems.
8. Health, Fitness & Suitability
- Walking holidays can be physically demanding. Ensure you are physically capable before booking.
- You must disclose any relevant medical conditions when booking.
- You are responsible for bringing suitable footwear, clothing, and personal items.
9. Special Dietary Requirements
- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-related needs.
- You must notify us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
- While we work with third-party providers (accommodation and restaurants), we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
- If you have severe allergies, you are responsible for carrying any necessary medication (e.g. EpiPen) and informing both us and relevant providers.
- We accept no liability for any adverse reactions resulting from dietary issues unless due to our proven negligence.
10. Behaviour & Conduct
- Disruptive, unsafe, or abusive behaviour may result in your removal from the holiday without refund.
- You are liable for damage caused to accommodation or third-party property.
11. Luggage & Personal Belongings
- You are responsible for your belongings at all times.
- We are not liable for loss or theft unless due to our negligence.
12. Our Liability
- We are not liable for events outside our control (e.g. weather, illness, transport disruption).
- Our liability is limited to the total cost of the holiday.
- Your statutory rights under UK law remain unaffected.
13. Complaints
- If issues arise, notify us or your guide during the holiday so we can try to resolve them.
- Written complaints must be received within 28 days of your return.
- We aim to respond within 14 days.
14. Data Protection
- We comply with UK GDPR and only use your personal data for booking and administration.
- Your data will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
